Just to mix up the questioning a bit, you can get the person who answers the first question to pick who will answer the next one. Stops you being the bad guy and they love to put their mates on the spot, especially if they think they haven’t been listening.

Good for TL use also, as you can say “pick a boy/girl/the next person” in TL.

Also good for translation activities – one person says a sentence (something they answered a reading question with, for example) and then chooses someone to translate it. They then read out their answer…

Sort of like follow me but without the cards.

Can also be used as a plenary if you want to use questioning in your plenary.
